A brace you love to wear

More than two years of research, design, and engineering resulted in a range of custom AFOs that are truly special. A super-precise fit, a feather-light material, all fitting in most of your favorite shoes.

A perfectly fitting orthosis in two appointments

How it works

Light as a feather

Manometric's engineering resulted in the lightest custom AFOs yet. This means that you can do more, go farther, and enjoy activities more. Do the things you love again.

Wear your favorite shoes

The AFO fits in most shoes because of the sub-millimeter precise 3D fitting and razor-thin design. This means that in most cases, custom shoes are unnecessary.

A brace unlike any other

How we do it

Precision when it matters most

We use our proprietary ManoX 3D Leg Scanner to capture your leg in meticulous detail. Afterwards, our software ensures that the AFO will fit and support just right.

A beautiful new material

Together with engineering experts who have worked with F1 McLaren, we developed a revolutionary composite material that is more tailored to the human body and pushes the limits of strength and weight.

Frequently asked questions

When can I get a new splint?

Your device has a two-year warranty. Most health insurers also consider a usage period of two years. After about two years, we will contact you to make an appointment. During that appointment, we will check your device. If it needs replacing, we can fit you with a new one.

What should I do if my splint is broken?

Please contact us. We will ask you to share a photo of the defect, which helps us determine the best solution.

How long should I wear my splint?

Wear the device when you need it, for example during activities. It is also important to take it off regularly to let your skin breathe. Your practitioner can advise you further on this.

How do I clean my splint?

Clean your splint every day with lukewarm water, washing-up liquid, and a soft sponge. Notice any discolouration? Soak it in water with green soap for about 30 minutes, then scrub gently with a sponge. Rinse thoroughly.

Frequently asked questions

How does the first appointment go?

During your first appointment, we will talk with you about your (pain) complaints, your daily life, and your wishes regarding the device. We will then discuss the available options with you. In most cases, you can also choose the color of the material.

During the first appointment, we also take measurements. We do this with our ManoX Leg scanner, which creates a 3D model of your foot and leg.

At this appointment, we also check your referral and your right to reimbursement. We will discuss the next steps and, in most cases, schedule a follow-up appointment right away to collect your orthosis.
